While Dr. Erasmus Craven is mourning his late wife, Lenore, he encounters a talking raven that says it's actually a man named named Dr. Adolphus Bedlo. After reversing this transformation, Bedlo tells Craven he wants help getting revenge on  the powerful mage who turned him into a raven, Dr. Scarabus. Craven turns down his offer until Bedlo says he saw Lenore alive at Scarabus' castle. Curious how this could be, Craven agrees to Bedlo's vendetta in the hope of getting some answers. Accompanied by Craven's daughter, Estelle, and Bedlo's son, Roxford, this group will journey to Scarabus' home for a night of magic, mystery, and mayhem. Listen as we discuss how director Roger Corman adapts Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem into a spooky and goofy comical tale featuring a talking raven, magical duels, and Jack Nicholson in one of his early roles.
