Mister Rogers Neighborhood of Make Believe was a cute trolley ride attraction at Idlewild amusement park in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, USA that operated for 24 years, opening in June 1989 and closing at the end of the 2013 season. It is based on the Neighborhood of Make-Believe TV show and creator Fred Rogers (who was local to the park) was directly involved in the ride design as he wanted it to be as close of a replica to the TV show as possible. He wrote the script for the ride and provided the voice for most of the characters. Visitors are greeted by King Friday XIII who announces that he is hosting a “Hug-N-Song” party at the castle and tasks guests on the Trolley to invite the other neighbours.
