Nummech Edge Automag complete CNC 5-axis body milling

How are our Automag bodies made? Trick question, it's the same as all our other marker bodies! Yet this "Edge-mag" is different due to its 5-axis process, so I hope it presents something new for you to watch. This time there's no commonplace 3D scalloped cuts; instead lots of spinning around. The video shows highlights from the cosmetic milling applied to a customized 2x2 Nummech Automag body blank, which are machined ahead of time. The video doesn't show machining of the blanks because it's too difficult to film (and pretty boring). The products shown here are Nummech's slug bodies which are then transformed into Edge-mag bodies, but I also show off the Pyromag and Necromag examples, and some shots of Nummech's AxePro Edge body is used for example too. In the future we may produce additional Mag designs, but only if there's enough demand for them. Notes for machining nerds: Most of the footage was captured using a GoPro Hero5 mounted inside Hirudin's CRACE coolant-resistant case, attached inside the machine using a solid mount. I captured external audio from a microphone outside the machine then spliced it together. When filming, I modified the tools and processes to run mostly without coolant. The coolant-wicking case makes it easy to see with coolant, but I still prefer to film dry to enable a better view. The mill being used is a 2016 Haas VF3 with a TR-160 5th axis trunnion. We use a combination of different CNCs during manufacturing, but this is the only mill large enough for the TR-160.
