Mindanao to Luzon, Part 8: Quezon: Calauag-Gumaca-Lucena

The second segment of Day 5 of the return trip is Mindanao to Luzon, Part 8: Quezon: Calauag-Gumaca-Lucena. There are several roads repairs/ widening in AH26. Passed by Atimonan’ s Bitukang Manok & even if it is undergoing repairs & in need of repairs, it is still an iconic stretch of zigzag road 😊. Went to Catalino's Restaurant along Tayabas-Lucena Road planning to take lunch there but there seems to be a lack of waiters in the establishment so went instead to Ma Jo Kitchen Store at PTT Gas Station along AH26/ Pan-Philippine Highway in Lucena City. Café Jungle & Horibata restaurants are also in same location. Lopez Diversion Road is already open which we passed on the way south so went by the town proper this time. Diversion Roads in Gumaca & Pagbilao are still under construction. Passed the following POIs or towns: Quezon Province: Calauag, Lopez, Gumaca, Plaridel, Atimonan, Pagbilao & Lucena City.
