I Reached Kalpa… But Nothing Went According to Plan 🥲 | The Great Himalayan Circuit Part-3🏔

I finally reached Kalpa… but this day turned out completely different from what I had planned. 🏍️ My plan was simple — reach Kalpa, leave my luggage at the stay, ride to Chitkul, explore the village and return to Kalpa by evening. The next morning, I was supposed to explore Kalpa before heading towards Nako. But there was one big problem. After riding and recording for a long time, I realised that my microphone wasn't recording properly. Almost the entire ride had no usable audio, so I had to recreate that part of the journey through voiceover. Then, after reaching Kalpa around afternoon, another plan changed. The owner of my stay advised me not to go to Chitkul because of the long travel time, road construction and traffic. With very little time left to actually explore Chitkul, I decided to drop Chitkul from the itinerary. Instead, I spent the rest of the day exploring Kalpa — visiting the Narayan Nagini Temple, Kalpa Monastery and Suicide Point. By the time the sun started going down, it was time to end another day of the Great Himalayan Circuit.
