The language draws inspiration from Ancient Greek and Ancient Latin. These influences are intentional: the vocabulary, sounds, and written forms may remind you of the ancient languages of our world, but something feels different. You may recognise the atmosphere of Greek or Latin without being able to translate the lyrics as either language. That is part of the concept. I am not simply writing lyrics in Ancient Greek or Latin. I am developing a fictional language with its own identity, drawing on the aesthetic and linguistic influences of both while creating something distinct. The language is still under development.
