Our fourth day was another beautiful day of our Odisha trip, and unfortunately, it was also our last day in Bhubaneswar.
.
We started our morning at around 9:00 AM. After getting ready, we left our hotel and found a nearby restaurant where we enjoyed our breakfast. Once we were done, we headed towards Cuttack, a historic city near Bhubaneswar.
.
Our first stop was the birthplace of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, one of India's greatest freedom fighters. He was born in Cuttack on 23 January 1897. His birthplace, known as Janakinath Bhawan, has been preserved as a museum where visitors can learn about his childhood, life and contribution to India's freedom struggle.
.
Cuttack is also known as the Silver City of Odisha, famous for its beautiful silver filigree work, rich history and cultural heritage. It is one of the oldest cities in Odisha and is situated between the Mahanadi and Kathajodi rivers.
.
We also explored a nearby fort, which made the experience even more special. The place was beautiful, peaceful and full of history. We enjoyed exploring the surroundings and capturing some lovely memories.
.
After spending some wonderful time in Cuttack, at around 2:00 PM, we started our journey back towards our hotel in Bhubaneswar. On the way, we stopped at a restaurant for lunch. The food and overall experience were really good, just as you might have seen in our vlog
.
After reaching the hotel, we went back to our rooms and took some rest because we had one more beautiful place to explore in the evening.
.
At around 7:00 PM, we booked a rickshaw and headed towards the famous Mukteshwar Temple. This temple is one of the most beautiful historical temples in Bhubaneswar and is often called the Gem of Odisha Architecture. It is famous for its stunning stone carvings, beautiful sculptures and magnificent Torana (ornamental arched gateway).
.
We explored the temple and took darshan, enjoying the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. After that, we visited a nearby mall, where we spent some time exploring, shopping and enjoying our food.
.
And just like that, our wonderful Day 4 came to an end
.
It was a day filled with history, spirituality, delicious food and beautiful memories. We explored Cuttack, learned about the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, visited the magnificent Mukteshwar Temple and enjoyed our final evening in Bhubaneswar.
.
Bhubaneswar gave us so many unforgettable memories, and it was time to say goodbye to this beautiful city. ❤️
.
Thank you, Bhubaneswar, for such a wonderful experience. Until next time
