Skillsville FULL EPISODE | Hair Stylist

As a Hairstylist, Rae focuses on giving her customers the haircuts and colors they want. Rae needs to have “Task Persistence” in order to create the perfect hairstyle for her client. She learns that talking herself through the process helps her figure things out and keep trying until she gets it right. Rae later applies this strategy in her home life, when she tries out a difficult hairstyle for School Picture Day. Executive Function Skill – Task Persistence: The capacity to stick with a worthwhile task or activity, even when that activity is challenging or unappealing. Task persistence goes hand-in-hand with focused attention and impulse control;: to complete a task, you need to resist distractions and temptations that would take you away from a constructive activity. ⭐ Enjoying Skillsville?
