【舛田利雄 追悼】【日曜深夜名曲 vol.415】靖国神社周辺 | トラ！トラ！トラ！ ～Tora! Tora! Tora!～ (ジェリー・ゴールドスミス)

2026年８月26日 映画監督・舛田利雄さんが老衰のため逝去されました。享年98歳。 映画、テレビ、ビデオと幅広いディバイスで活躍された一方でジャンルの幅も広く、初期は石原慎太郎・裕次郎兄弟の作品を多く手掛け、時代劇からアニメ、戦争映画、刑事ドラマ、SF作品まで扱っている。そしてその多くが歴史に名を残す名作揃い。とんでもない監督である。 今夜はそんな監督の逝去を悼み、氏がリチャード・フライシャー、深作欣二と共同監督した「トラ！トラ！トラ！」のメインテーマ曲をお送りします。 この作品は本来は黒沢明が監督を引き受け３週間程度は撮影をしていたのですが、ピュアに撮影にこだわる黒沢と20世紀フォックスとの間で予算、撮影内容、スケジュール、編集などで齟齬が生じて監督を辞退。それを受けて舛田利雄・深作欣二が後任に選ばれたという出来事があった作品です。 内容的には真珠湾攻撃を日米それぞれの視点から描いた映画。 ※スクロールテキスト書き出しの都合上、FHD(1920-1080)で書き出し Film director Toshio Masuda passed away on August 26, 2026, due to old age. He was 98. He was active across a wide range of media—including film, television, and video—and worked in diverse genres; early in his career, he frequently collaborated on projects featuring the Ishihara brothers, Shintaro and Yujiro, and went on to direct everything from period dramas and anime to war movies, police procedurals, and science fiction. Many of these works are masterpieces that have left an enduring mark on history. He was a truly magnificent director. Tonight, to mourn the passing of that director, we present the main theme from *Tora! Tora! Tora!*—a film he co-directed alongside Richard Fleischer and Kinji Fukasaku. Akira Kurosawa had originally taken on the role of director and spent about three weeks filming; however, he stepped down due to irreconcilable differences with 20th Century Fox regarding the budget, content, schedule, and editing—clashes stemming from Kurosawa’s uncompromising dedication to the filmmaking process. Toshio Masuda and Kinji Fukasaku were subsequently chosen to take over the project.
