DENTAL WEBINAR: Nanoparticles as an enabler for precision health

Prof. Admire Dube presentaed on the role of nanoparticles in enabling precision health, with a focus on their application in drug delivery and targeting. He explained the basics of nanoscience and nanomedicine, highlighting the benefits of using nanoparticles for controlled and targeted release of therapeutics to improve efficacy and reduce toxicity. He also discussed various types of nanoparticles, their synthesis, and characterization, and provided examples of their use in treating infectious diseases like TB and HIV, as well as in vaccine delivery.
