Overlanding to the Highest Points in Wisconsin & Michigan | Timm's Hill to Mt. Curwood & Mt. Arvon

I’m heading out on an overlanding adventure from Timm’s Hill — the highest point in Wisconsin — across the back roads and trails of the Upper Midwest to Michigan’s highest points: Mt. Curwood and Mt. Arvon. (Day 1 of 2) The route takes me deep into the backcountry, connecting these three high points while avoiding the easy way whenever possible. After reaching Mt. Arvon, the adventure continues north to the shores of Lake Superior, where I set up camp and spend the night in the middle of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Three high points.
