I NEVER THOUGHT I’D SEE HER AGAIN…

After 4 long years, I finally met my Uzbek friend again! 🇺🇿 But our story actually goes back much further. We first met in October 2019 at university, and since that day we've stayed very good friends through so many different phases of life. That means we've now been friends for almost 7 years — more than 2,500 days! The last time I visited her was in August 2022, when I stayed at her home in Uzbekistan. Her mother cooked me some amazing Uzbek plov, we explored a local bazaar together, and the next day we even travelled to Kokand in the Fergana Valley. And now, after 4 years apart, we're finally meeting again. A lot has changed since 2022, but it was honestly so much fun to see each other again and catch up after all these years. In this FIRST video of my Uzbekistan journey, we're exploring Tashkent, including Tashkent City Mall, the city at night, the nightlife, and local food. We also visit Sulman, a popular place in Tashkent, where we went to eat and had a really fun day together. And this is just the beginning! 🇺🇿 In the upcoming videos, I'll be exploring Tashkent and different parts of Uzbekistan with my Uzbek friend, discovering local food, culture, cities and places along the way.
