Park Center Boys Basketball Beats Eastview in State Semifinals

The Park Center boys basketball team had the last rally in a back and forth second half to edge Eastview 61-56 in the state class AAAA semifinals Thursday night. Eastview surged into the lead down the stretch and led 53-48 before the Pirates made a final push with a 9-0 run to re-take the lead. Casmir Chavis had 21 points and two key baskets down the stretch for the Pirates. Park Center advances to the championship game for a rematch with Wayzata Saturday night at 8:00 at the Target Center.
