Elona mobile discord server: https://discord.gg/edDvNpkyfu --------------------------------- This is a quick guide about savage's rage and what is "snapshoting". Savage's rage is unlocked it at level 25 of the two hand skill. It will reserve 25% of your mana, and give your attacks SP leech, which is good, but more importantly it gives you a lot of damage, which is based on your current STR. Here you can see i have nothing other than a white rarity lightsaber, and after i use savage's rage, my damage on the sheet doubles. The more interesting part about this ability is that it bases the effect on your current strength, as in how much strength you had when you activated it. I'll show you an example of how to use that. First i'll disable the stance by unequiping the weapon. Now i equip a bunch of equipment focused on strenght. All this equipment was made for doing this, so it has strenght and nothing else. You can see on my base stats that now i have a total of one thousand and three hundred strength, which is much higher than before. Now i skip some turns to pass the cooldown and use it again. Now you can see that my damage increased by five times due to the savage's rage, not just double like before. But now i'll show you why we call this "snapshoting". This bonus is based on the strength you had when you activated the stance, so even after i remove all my strength equipment, the higher bonus value will stay. This allows me to swap my equipment, from equipment made to stack as much STR as before to stuff made with combat stats and not just strength. And this example is just with equipment giving you strength, you can also use other effects and buffs that might give you strength to push this bonus further, like the Inspire spell, blessed cure weakness potions, Opato's guild blessing, Opatos follower buff, fervent buff, dungeon covenant blessing and others. One thing to notice is that unequiping any melee weapon will disable the stance, and you will need to make the snapshot again to restore it with the same power. Unequiping shields, handhelds or ranged weapons will not disable it. For ranged players, this strategy can also be used to snapshot the effects of Dexterity on the hunting time bonus damage. In that case, unequiping melee weapons is fine, but unequiping ranged weapons will disable hunting time.
