What’s Along This Abandoned Mine Tramway? - Part One

An abandoned tramway still climbs this mountainside, connecting mine workings scattered at different levels. I followed what remains of it uphill to see where it went—and what was still accessible along the way. This first part follows the tramway past surviving structures and equipment to three separate adits. Both are explored underground, where the workings include old timbering, vertical openings, ladders, and carbide graffiti left behind on the walls.
