IVAN 2X - Owners of Brazilian Lands

Owners of Brazilian Lands Autor: Ivan 2X Before the cities, before steel and sound There was a free wind singing all around Bare feet in the forest, walking their own way Ancient wisdom time could not take away They guarded rivers, names, the paths, the ground Every standing tree was sacred, profound In the language of earth, in ancestral song Brazil was born from them - where it belongs And even wounded, they never disappeared In the strength of roots, they’ve always persevered They are the true owners of Brazilian lands Guardians of life, of history, of strands Before everything, before any nation’s claim This land had a people, a voice, and a name They erased their stories, tried to silence their cry But you can’t mute those born to defy In their skin, in their dance, in the way that they see They carry a world that still longs to be free From fire to bow, from chant to ritual Every gesture lives, essential, perpetual Not just the past - it’s a present that beats It’s the deep Brazil that never retreats And even in pain, they stand tall, they remain The truth lives on in each shaman’s domain They are the true owners of Brazilian lands Guardians of life, of history, of strands Before everything, before any nation’s claim This land had a people, a voice, and a name If you hear the silence of the forest at night You’ll feel their spirits still alive in the light It’s not just history - it’s a fight today For the respect the world still keeps away They are the true owners of Brazilian lands Roots that uphold all our borders and plans To honor their name is to stand and resist Without them, Brazil cannot exist
