The last week of July 2021 we fished the entire week out of Alligator Point, FL. This is a little community near Panacea, FL. The marine forecast for the week actually showed to be true. Seas 1ft to calm for 4 days in a row with winds light and variable. We traveled an average of 25 miles a day enjoying great fishing. Our planned target species was King & Spanish Makeral, barracuda and of course the infamous red snappers. While we came up short on the targeted species we found Dog Reef. This reef is not far from our home base and provided great inshore fishing. We caught a large number of fish including trout, flounder, black sea bass to name just few.
