Black Bear Pass in a 5th Gen 4Runner- September 2022

We successfully tackled Black Bear Pass back in September 2022, just a few weeks before the trail closed for the season. Black Bear Pass never officially opened in 2023, so we were amongst the last few to get to drive this fabulous trail. We'll see if it opens in 2024. Black Bear Pass is scary. It isn't technically the most challenging road we've done, but it definitely was the most scary with the worst consequences should there be a mishap. But we made it through with all the pups in tow, and it was phenomenal.
