This video examines situations in which locally reasonable plans become jointly unworkable, interprets the planning and governance failure beneath each symptom, and identifies the response that restores viability, alignment, value, authority, and decision-ready control. What this video covers: • Late constraints reveal that commitments hardened before environmental factors and organizational assets were reviewed • A pending approval that can invalidate scope is a critical information requirement, not a routine assumption • Comparable deliverables can require different governance when complexity and dependency patterns differ • On-time, on-budget delivery can still drift from the business case and intended benefits • Repeated requirement change signals that the selected development approach does not fit uncertainty • Undefined predictive and adaptive boundaries create conflict over which commitments are fixed • Resource, schedule, and procurement plans fail when their assumptions are never reconciled • Unplanned skill gaps show that resource types and quantities were not structured before commitments • Several manageable changes can jointly invalidate the assumptions holding the integrated plan together • Informal workarounds make the plan irrelevant when deviations never trigger corrective action or approved change • Large volumes of metrics remain useless when the information system does not connect evidence to decisions • Near-term cost reductions destroy value when sustainability, acceptance, and long-term viability are excluded ▶ Watch next:    • The PMP® Reasoning Architect   ▶ Subscribe for executive summaries of every PMP® reasoning area:    / @pmpreasoning   ▶ More from the author:    / @orlandocasabonne   This executive summary presentation is a sample of the complete PMP® multimedia learning architecture for reasoning-based mastery • For individual learners who want one complete PMP preparation path • For training providers who need brand-neutral after-class support for their students Multimedia e-learning course • Audio and video overview • Executive summary presentation • Audiobook narration of the full text explanations • Interactive conceptual understanding check • Conceptual discrimination questions • Situational reasoning questions Online PMP exam simulation pack • 4 full-length mock exams, 180 questions each • Full ECO-compliant and PMI-style question formats • Question banks for People, Process, and Business Environment • Auto-grading, repeat attempts, reviews • Extensive explanation of each option for each question Explore the platform: https://pmprep.de Preview the workbook on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GZNDJLQ9 Contact the author: orlando@casabonne.com PMP is a registered mark of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
