Whiteface

https://linktr.ee/Lonesomeace This week me and Showman are back out on Belmont Lake, just spinning around like a couple of freaks and playing Joe Thrift's great tune "Whiteface" on fiddle and banjo. In case you're wondering what's up with the title, apparently, this tune was named after a favorite cow. There you go! This tune is what they call a "festival favorite", at least it used to be. You don't hear it as much as you used to. I think maybe people have matured away from it...we have not.
