Video Description: I went out to film and cover the annual Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession—celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad—for the first time in over three years! The day started off on a fantastic note with a peaceful, respectful atmosphere, great energy, and warm greetings from everyone passing by. However, things briefly turned rocky in the middle when a steward/security volunteer tried to tell me where I could and couldn't walk in a public space, asking me to move despite doing nothing wrong and already standing quietly at the back. Thankfully, the local community stepped in! Members of the Muslim community quickly spoke up, put a stop to the situation, and stood up for my right to film peacefully. Massive respect and gratitude to everyone who showed support and made sure the day remained positive. From there, it only got better—I met an amazing chap from Accrington, had great conversations on the walk, exchanged contact details, caught up with a few friends, and was even offered food and drinks. Thank you to everyone who made this event memorable and welcoming.
