Reaction/Comparison/Review - Jethro Tull vs Jethro Tull - (The) Teacher - Let's Do The Song Twice

This is a reaction/comparison/review of Jethro Tull performing "(The) Teacher". There are two versions of the song done by Tull. The first was in 1969 and released as the b-side of the UK single "The Witche's Promise". This version is very guitar driven minus flute (wait, isn't this a Jethro Tull song?). It is quite heavy with various sparodic guitar solos. It was released in January 1970. After the first recording, the group re-recorded the song for the USA album version of "Benefit" released in April 1970. It was also released on the b-side of the USA single "The Witche's Promise" similar to the UK. A bit faster then the first version, it appears to be more structured and there it is, Ian playing flute. So which one do you like? Enjoy ...
