MIKE FLANAGAN'S CARRIE IS HERE | Carrie (Episode 1) Reaction

Is Mike Flanagan connecting Carrie to the rest of the Stephen King universe? I’m a huge Mike Flanagan fan, and The Haunting of Hill House remains one of the best TV shows I have ever watched. From Midnight Mass and to his Stephen King adaptations, I’ve loved seeing the way Flanagan combines horror with emotional, character-driven storytelling. Naturally, I couldn't wait to see what he would do with Carrie. In this reaction, I’m watching the premiere of the new Prime Video Carrie series, starring Summer H. Howell as Carrie White and Samantha Sloyan as Margaret White. But I can't help asking myself: could Mike Flanagan be building another connection within the Stephen King universe? After seeing how recent adaptations have played with connections between King's stories, I'm going to be watching very closely for clues, references, and connections to the larger King mythology. Do you think we're going to see connections to Stephen King works? Let me know your theories in the comments! 0:00 Intro 1:15 Reaction 27:51 Conclusion
