The Deep Depression over the Bay of Bengal has reportedly slowed down and is moving gradually towards the coast. The system may cross near Kalingapatnam within 3–4 hours, before moving inland towards Chhattisgarh through Koraput and Rayagada. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected from midnight, with Kalahandi, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri likely to be among the affected districts.
