Shava Mhizha

🎵 SHAVA MHIZHA — ShumbaZw 🇿🇼 A powerful traditional Zimbabwean musical tribute celebrating the Shava Mhizha lineage and the rich cultural heritage carried through Zimbabwean totems. The Shava totem is associated with the Mhofu (eland), a revered animal symbol within Zimbabwean cultural traditions. Mhizha is one of the recognized Shava clan lineages, with its own praise names and heritage. 🎶 Maita Mhizha! Zvaitwa Nhuka! Maita Mukonde wangu yuyu! Mupaya, waMabweadziva! This song brings together the spirit of Zimbabwean traditional music, ancestral praise poetry, rhythmic percussion, mbira-inspired textures, hosho, and powerful African vocals to celebrate identity, family, heritage, and the stories carried from one generation to another. 🦌 SHAVA MHIZHA A celebration of culture.
