BUON ASCOLTO !!!!

A real musical "gem", recorded directly at Melody Mecca.
For almost twenty years "Mecca" has been the reference point for young people who were looking for different sounds and atmospheres than those offered by the traditional clubs of the Riviera. Local historian "the Red Grotto", which has become the temple of lovers of the "afro" genre. And Dj Pery aka Pierangelo Mulazzani, in 1981 he decided to give life to this adventure and until 1999 he was the "resident dj". "Everything was born out of fun and passion, my parents in fact managed several clubs in Rimini so much that the love for music blossomed from a very young age. Artistically, I started in 1979 at the New York nightclub, a place that a few years later would become Cellophane. Two years later I opened the Melody Mecca, a place with a strong ethnic connotation in which I offered Afro music, a genre hitherto unknown in Rimini nightclubs. An idea that was inspired by my personal journey and the fact that I have always enjoyed experimenting with new things, I have never loved banality ". A winning idea, so much so that in a short time the place grew both in terms of popularity and popularity. "Until 1985 it remained a summer record, then all year round with at least two events a month, on Saturday nights. The audience was basically made up of very young people, on average from 17 to 25 years old, and in a short time Mecca became a cult venue of its kind, nationally but also in Europe ". An experience that lasted until 1999 when Dj Pery leaves his creation (Mecca which will close its doors at the end of 2000) to become resident DJ of the Jamaé di Jesi and then, in 2013, the move to Mamamia in Senigallia. In the meantime, numerous collaborations and experiences, including as an author, and countless evenings in Italy and abroad. He has also collaborated with Radio Istanbul, in an ethno, indie and dub music program together with other internationally renowned DJs and not only, because Dj Pery continues to play in various clubs and proposing his mixes and his musical choices, and also many sounds that he has also sought in his oriental travels. GOOD LISTENING !!!!
