Stacy Rowles Quartet - theme on Take the A Train (live)

On December 13, 1989, Stacy Rowles was performing as a quartet at the famous Parisian jazz club Le Petit Opportun. Jeff Colella was on piano, Eric Von Essen on bass, and Jerry Kalaf on drums. That night the concert was broadcast live on the radio and I was lucky enough to record a good part of it on an audio cassette. In 2009, when I learned of Stacy's passing, I promised myself I would pay tribute to her by digitizing this recording to share it with those who loved her. After many twists and turns, I am finally keeping my promise. So this is a tribute to our dear Stacy Rowles.
