Jump on the bike with me for a casual motorbike ride through the streets of Dumaguete City, Philippines, where traffic rules can sometimes feel more like polite suggestions. No narration. No staged drama. Just real Dumaguete traffic, real street sounds, motorbikes, scooters, tricycles, jeepneys, buses, cars squeezing through gaps that don't appear to exist, and a few moments where you find yourself wondering exactly who has right of way. The answer, apparently, is everybody. If you've ever wondered what it's actually like riding a motorbike in the Philippines, this is about as close as you can get without putting on a helmet yourself. Dumaguete traffic has its own rhythm. Motorcycles filter through tiny gaps, tricycles appear from everywhere, vehicles merge with remarkable confidence, pedestrians cross when the opportunity presents itself, and somehow the whole thing keeps moving. Most of the time... This ride captures everyday life on the roads of Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental, not the polished tourist version, but the Philippines as you actually experience it from the seat of a motorbike. And the funny thing is, once you've been riding here for a while, scenes like this really do start feeling completely normal. If you're interested in Dumaguete, living in the Philippines, retiring in the Philippines, expat life, Philippine travel, motorbike riding, POV rides or just seeing what everyday life is really like outside the tourist resorts, you're in the right place. There'll be plenty more rides through Dumaguete, Bacong, Valencia and around Negros Oriental as I continue exploring this part of the Philippines from two wheels. It helps enormously and means you won't miss the next ride. #Dumaguete #Philippines #DumagueteCity #MotorbikePOV #PhilippinesPOV #RidingInThePhilippines #PhilippinesTraffic #DumagueteTraffic #MotorcyclePhilippines #NegrosOriental #ExpatPhilippines #LivingInThePhilippines #RetireInThePhilippines #PhilippinesTravel #MotorbikeRide #POVRide #PhilippinesRoads #LifeInThePhilippines
