Hansel and Gretel | Classic Fairy Tale Read-Aloud Picture Book for Kids

Hansel and Gretel: the classic Grimm fairy tale, told as an animated read-aloud picture book for children ages 3 to 6. The pages turn one by one as the story is read, and each word lights up as it is read, so little ones can follow along. A gentle 11-minute story for storytime, quiet time or before bed, with English and Japanese subtitles. #HanselAndGretel #FairyTale #BedtimeStory THE STORY Once upon a time, at the edge of a great forest, there lived a woodcutter and his family. When there was no food left, Hansel and his little sister Gretel got lost deep in the woods. White pebbles that shine in the moonlight, breadcrumbs pecked up by the birds, and then... a house made of candy! But a witch with very poor eyesight lives inside... This telling is made for young children, with a gentle ending. Brave little Gretel saves her big brother, the witch says sorry, and the whole family is together again. WHAT'S INSIDE Paper-collage animation: pictures in the style of torn Japanese washi paper. The characters talk, blink and walk. Read-along text: the words at the bottom of the screen light up as they are read, in a different color for each speaker. Say it together: Hansel's tummy going "rumble, rumble, rumble," "Nibble, nibble, like a mouse, who is nibbling at my house?" and "The wind, the wind, the heaven-born wind." With "Everybody, join in! Ready? One, two, three!" children watching can join the story. A story about a little sister who grows brave.
