What if some of your most valuable skills are the ones you don't even recognize as skills? You've spent years solving problems, managing people, figuring things out, coordinating schedules, stretching resources, navigating difficult situations, learning new systems and keeping things moving. But because nobody gave you a certificate for most of it, you may have decided it didn't count. It counted. In this video, I'm showing you a simple way to start uncovering the skills hiding inside your ordinary life. We'll start with three questions: → What do people rely on me to handle? → What do I actually DO when I handle it? → What skills does that require? Because “I'm just good at figuring things out” might actually mean problem-solving, adaptability, resourcefulness and learning agility. “I keep everybody organized” might be coordination, prioritization and operations. “People always come to me when something goes wrong” might reveal communication, de-escalation, leadership and decision-making skills. We're not inventing experience that isn't there. We're learning how to see the experience that already is. That's the idea behind something I've been building called The Invisible Résumé—a way to uncover, translate and eventually use the skills and capabilities you've accumulated throughout your life but were never taught to recognize. If you're navigating a career change, starting over after 40 or 50, returning to work, considering a business, or simply wondering what the hell you're actually qualified to do next—you're in the right place. 💬 Tell me in the comments: What's something people always rely on YOU to handle? And subscribe, because we're going much deeper into The Invisible Résumé over the next few weeks. — Michelle Kai Rebuilding the Life That Belongs to You #InvisibleResume #TransferableSkills #CareerChange #CareerChangeAt50 #WomenOver40 #WomenOver50 #GenXWomen #MidlifeCareerChange #CareerReinvention #StartingOverAt50
