Since our bus was at Madiwala, we were picked up from Satellite by another Bengaluru–Kollam bus operated by the same network. Even though it wasn't our actual bus, the Kollam bus crew were extremely friendly and supportive throughout the transfer and helped us comfortably reach our Volvo. With a fare of ₹1,470 per person for a double berth and ₹1,670 for a single berth, the Oneness Volvo 9600 offers a comfortable premium overnight travel experience. One of the highlights of this journey was the excellent onboard service. Passengers were provided with clean blankets, snack boxes and a water bottle, making the overnight journey even more comfortable. ❤️🥤 The bus also does not have a dedicated dinner break, allowing passengers to continue the journey without a long halt. The Oneness Volvo 9600 also impressed with its beautiful and distinctive bus livery, giving the coach a premium look even before the journey began. Once we hit the highways, the powerful Volvo showed its performance, easily touching speeds of around 120 km/h on suitable stretches. 🔥🚌 As we entered Kerala, the bus slowed down appropriately through the narrower and more challenging ghat sections, making the ride comfortable despite the changing road conditions. Along the way, we also spotted several interesting buses and operators, including JSR Roadlink, London Travels and Raveendra Holidays, adding some exciting moments for bus enthusiasts. The highlight of the entire journey, however, was the crew. The Oneness crew were extremely friendly, helpful and supportive throughout the trip, making the journey feel even more comfortable and enjoyable. After an exciting overnight run, we finally reached Kottarakkara at around 8:50 AM — approximately one hour ahead of the scheduled arrival time! Overall, this was a fantastic Bengaluru–Kottarakkara journey aboard the Oneness Volvo 9600, featuring a comfortable sleeper experience, premium service, clean blankets, snack boxes, water bottles, friendly crew, beautiful livery, highway cruising and some exciting bus spotting along the way.
