Black Abyss (Canada) - Wargoat (Album 2026)

Following up to "The Overflowing Threshold" released earlier this year, DNE and KS are back with Black Abyss' third full-length and 7th release. After the two more abstract, instinctive and formless albums that were out prior to this release, DNE and KS return to the more old school and structured sound that characterized the band's first three demos and were my favorite material by the project, and the one that made this project differentiate from their other harsher and more oblique War Metal projects in Tsalal and Bullet Clenched in Teeth. The band's best material to date, envisioned prior to the previous two albums, "Wargoat" consists of 9 tracks of Bestial worship. Bass blasphemy and annihilation, pure satanic will and might released in neckbreaking and death-worshipping Black/Death in the veins of old Beherit, Blasphemy, Archgoat or acts like Kiloton and Sexófago.
