A family friend revealed that 30-year-old Jana Armstrong, whose body was found by pig hunters in remote bushland at Redbank Creek, had recently learned the father of her four-month-old son was married with two other children. Toowoomba taxi driver Dharminder Singh, 48, has been charged with her domestic violence murder after her abandoned car was found near her Newtown home on July 8. Singh was arrested and remanded in custody by the Toowoomba Magistrates Court, with his next appearance scheduled for October.
