Roots of Resilience: Fiji

This short film follows Her Planet Earth’s journey to Fiji, where we witnessed first-hand the work of Conservation International Fiji to strengthen the resilience of coastal communities and ecosystems. From meeting women cultivating nama, Fiji’s native sea grapes, and local seaweed farmers, to learning about community-led conservation and the restoration and planting of mangroves, the film highlights how nature, livelihoods and women’s leadership are deeply interconnected in building a more resilient future. Filmed and directed by Angeline Levar.
