Balancing Connecting Rod Sets the Easy Way - 2JZ Inline 6 (Without Grinding Connecting Rods)

I show you how I static balance the connecting rob/piston assemblies when I rebuild the engine in my 2JZ Toyota Supra. whenever anybody here is balancing an engine they always think about dynamic balancing because that's very common with v6 and V8 engines we have a lot of forces being thrown in different directions. with the inline 6 engines they are inherently balanced, which means that you basically don't have any huge counterweights or anything like that, the crankshaft is balanced by itself the flywheel is balanced by itself the harmonic balancer is balanced by itself that means that all of the Pistons connecting rod assemblies should all be the same weight. this is very confusing to me for a long time until The Machinist explained it to me years ago, as soon as it made sense I was like oh that's how you get it to rev so smooth. hopefully this video helps you get some ideas..
