𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗦 - BOMBU MININU

POLON® - GAZADJU Collection 𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗦 - BOMBU MININU A contemporary combination of the genres of his DNA. After years of obscure presence Gery Mendes is back with a soul stirring tune. A mix of 70s 80s analog vintage Funana classics, unpolished intricate energetic (Black) resistance Rap, and the marching, hypnotic groove of the Tabanka. Bombu Mininu is a serenade for those who paved the way towards Liberation. Rock a bye baby! A Caboverdian fighting spirit driven lullaby. An ode to ancestry, encouragement in the here and now, and a love letter for generations to come. Wearing the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗲 is to embrace the soul of a people born from courage and hope. It's to 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 even on cold days. Every detail represents stories of overcoming, crossed seas, and dreams achieved. ©️ 2024 POLON EMBRACE THE RHYTHM 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘃.𝗰𝗼𝗺 MUSIC/LYRICS: Gery Mendes VIDEO/EDITING: Bouba Dola VIDEO DIRECTOR: Sai Rodrigues EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: POLONcv COLLABORATORS: AllthingsAfrica SPECIAL THANKS: Tabanka Tchada Grandi, Familia na Achada Costa & São Lorenzo dos Orgãos Support us here: WEBSITE: www.poloncv.com YOUTUBE: / @poloncv FACEBOOK: / poloncv INSTAGRAM: / poloncv GERY MENDES:   / gerymendes   YOUTUBE:    / @gerymendes   ALLTHINGSAFRICA:   / allthingsafreeca
