Starfield was impossible to advertise correctly

Starfield is a Bethesda RPG that was marketed as the ultimate space exploration game. And Starfield reviews reflect that. Because Starfield gameplay is textbook Bethesda and the ultimate space exploration game is usually thought of as a space simulator like No Man's Sky. But Starfield is not a space exploration sim. It's Fallout 3 in space with a splash of Oblivion for good measure. And I love this... but it took a minute to get over the cognitive dissonance.
