Harlem, NY (2026) - Black-owned businesses are essential to the economic strength and long-term prosperity of Black communities. The 57th Annual African American Day Parade, Inc.© (AADP), proudly honored diverse business owners whose leadership, innovation, and services have made a lasting impact on the Black community. Under the theme, "Good Businesses Sustain Our Future", the parade celebrated the vital role Black-owned businesses play in creating opportunity, building wealth, and strengthening our communities. The renowned Grambling State University (GSU) Tiger Marching Band from Grambling, Louisiana, will dazzle the streets of Harlem with their signature sound, precision, and unmatched energy. GSU is celebrating a major multiversary in 2026, marking 125 years since its founding, 100 years of Tiger Athletics, and 100 years of the World-Famed Tiger Marching Band. The 250-member musical ensemble is known for pioneering high-stepping precision drill routines.
