Durga Puja Celebrations Across Odisha | Cuttack Silver Medhas & Bhubaneswar Theme Pandals

Odisha is immersed in festive spirit as Maa Durga arrives to bless devotees across the state. While Maha Navami is being observed at Shakti Peethas, Maha Ashtami rituals are taking place at Durga Puja pandals. Temples and pandals echo with sacred chants, conch sounds, and the ringing of bells as devotees pray for happiness, prosperity, and well-being. In Cuttack, Durga Puja celebrations are dazzling with magnificent silver medhas, with 37 pandals showcasing stunning silver decorations among 176 puja pandals across the city. Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar is attracting devotees with approximately 195 puja pandals featuring creative themes, beautiful lighting, and grand decorative gateways. Authorities and Commissionerate Police have strengthened security arrangements, traffic management, crowd control, and fire safety measures to ensure a safe and smooth darshan experience for devotees. The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are celebrating the divine arrival of Maa Durga with immense devotion, grandeur, and enthusiasm. #DurgaPuja #MaaDurga #OdishaDurgaPuja #CuttackDurgaPuja #BhubaneswarDurgaPuja #MahaAshtami #MahaNavami #SilverMedha #DurgaPuja2026 #OdishaNews #CuttackNews #BhubaneswarNews #TwinCity #DurgaPujaCelebration #OdishaFestival Welcome to News18 Odia, your go-to destination for the latest news and updates from across India and beyond.
