Kalugala Aranya Senasanaya is a buddhist monastery located in Baduraliya,Kalutara district. It is a truly peaceful monastery bordering the Sinharaja rain forest. It takes about 1 hr. and 30 minutes to reach there if you are coming from Colombo through the Southern express way. The pathway is very beautiful but little bit difficult to reach to the top. Be mindful of leeches if you are planning to travel there on a rainy day. This video is not in its best quality as it was pouring down and there were so many leeches.But it was a delightful journey.
