NYC VLOG | Setting Boundaries, Stranger Things Broadway, Sip & Slay+ Meeting Danessa Myricks

Come spend a few days in NYC with me! 🤎 This vlog starts with a little car chat with my sister as we head out for a bookstore run, followed by a much-needed conversation about boundaries and why I don’t think anyone should feel entitled to constant updates about my personal relationships. If someone isn’t in a vlog, there’s really no need to keep asking where they are. From there, we head to DUMBO, Brooklyn for a chill day of exploring, grabbing a quick bite and having some fun at Rise NY. Then it’s time to get ready for the weekend, where we went to see Stranger Things: The First Shadow on Broadway …and WOW… it was SO good! We followed it up with a delicious Thai dinner. The next day was all about getting ready for the Sip & Slay event. I took you through my morning, makeup and outfit details before heading to the event. While the ambiance was beautiful and there were some really great panels, I also share my honest thoughts about the experience and a few things I felt were lacking. One of the absolute highlights, though, was meeting the incredible Danessa Myricks. As someone who genuinely loves and wears her products, getting the opportunity to have a conversation with her was such a special moment. She was every bit as warm and iconic as I imagined! After the event, we headed to a Jamaican restaurant for dinner, good food and even better vibes. Ofcourse, I wrap up the vlog with my final thoughts on Sip & Slay event.
