Conscious roots is medicine song that was created and inspired by my connection to nature from the dryer bush lands to the wet ancient Rainforests surrounding me in Far North Queensland, Australia and life experience. This melody and whole song channeled into me in an instant from a personal mantra during deep and sacred plant medicine work.
Its a healing song, a representation of the many transitions, stages or cycles of life that we can experience and that we all are connected as human beings, a healing song not only for me and you but for Pachamama, to connect in and feel her as you transform into a tree. We are all one and we are all connected to each other and our great mother! There is inside all of us a profound understanding that we are not separate from nature, we are nature and it's about remembering
.~ I have sung this song in many ceremonies and I have witnessed many different people connect in profound ways to this song~
For myself~
The words 'remember your roots' reminds me to stay grounded and remember where I come from.
To ‘trust in your trunk’ is to stand solid and strong in my core, my body, my spirit.
To ‘believe in your branches’ is to branch out and believe in my visions.
To ‘love your leaves’ is to practice self-love and all that I am, have been and evolve to be.
To ‘flourish in your flowers'- is to shine as the visions in life blossom.
To ‘sow your seed’ to contribute to the cycles, all the gifts, ideas, creations, growth and life.
