USA vs RUSSIA: Military Gear Comparison

USA vs RUSSIA: Military Gear Comparison Four in the morning, minus fifteen, two soldiers in the same frozen field. One carries the most expensive personal kit ever issued, the other a system built for eleven time zones and very long winters. Which one would you rather be? We keep score, piece by piece. Compared: rifles and cartridges (M4A1, M7, AK-12, AK-74M), sights, under-barrel grenade launchers, squad machine guns (M249, M250, PKP Pecheneg), marksman rifles, pistols, anti-tank weapons (Javelin, Carl Gustaf, RPG-7, Kornet), helmets, body armor, drones, radios, the entrenching shovel, cold-weather clothing, rations, first aid, the fighting load, training and night vision.
