it's been almost 4 months but I'm back gonna try to be more consistent with videos but no promises ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FIFA sold over 325 million copies worldwide. It was the most played sports game on the planet for years. And today, longtime fans are walking away in droves — content creators who built entire careers on this game have quit, and even during TOTS, supposedly the biggest event of the year, the game feels completely dead. In this video I go through the full story of how that happened — from FIFA International Soccer in 1993 all the way to FC 26. The birth of Ultimate Team in FIFA 09. The golden years of pack openings and Fut Draft. The slow abandonment of Career Mode and Pro Clubs. The broken metas that defined every single release. The introduction of PlayStyles and Evolutions, and how they completely destroyed the game's balance. And why, even with zero real competition in the football gaming space, EA still can't deliver a game that feels finished. This isn't a video about hating FIFA. I've played this franchise since FIFA 9. It shaped a huge part of my childhood and it's still special to me — that's exactly why it hurts to watch what happened to it. If you grew up playing Ultimate Team, Career Mode, or Pro Clubs, let me know in the comments which FIFA meant the most to you.
