F. Kreisler: Caprice Viennois op. 2 I Svetlin Roussev, Yeol Eum Son

Fritz Kreisler (1875-1962) wrote the Caprice Viennois opus 2 in 1910, as a tribute to his hometown of Vienna. The piece reflects the "gemütlich" (cozy and cheerful) lifestyle of pre-war Vienna, full of elegant typical charm and expressive slow section, combined with very demanding high virtuosity passages in the middle.
