Ride to food! | I found a hidden gem at an airfield. Four Counties, One Café and a Subscriber's Recommendation! When I visited Monyash in the Peak District, I asked you to recommend some of your favourite biker cafés. Well, you certainly didn't disappoint! I've now got a huge list of places to explore, and this is the first of what I hope will be many visits to places recommended by you. This time I'm heading from West Yorkshire, through South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, to the Cozy Cockpit Café at Sturgate Airfield, near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. Four counties in just over an hour! I'm riding solo today, enjoying the roads and sharing a few thoughts along the way, including a funny story about a caravan and why I've discovered that retirement requires a little more planning than I expected! At the airfield, I'll be checking out the café, sampling the food, meeting some lovely people and getting my camera out for a spot of photography. Was it worth the journey? Come along and find out. ☕ Have you got a favourite biker café or an interesting place you'd recommend? Let me know in the comments. My list is growing, but there's always room for another! 📍 Location: Cozy Cockpit Café, Sturgate Airfield, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire DN21 5PA 🏍️ Motorcycle: Triumph Tiger 800 XRT 📷 Photography: Canon EOS R5 Thanks for watching and for being part of Sandi on a Mission.
