Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200 EI-DEP approach and landing on Runway 16 at Cork Airport, Ireland, operating flight EI715 from London Heathrow. This was just after Storm Diana had passed over Southern Ireland in November 2018 - less than 30 minutes before this landing, two Ryanair flights to Cork diverted away, without even attempting to land in the windy conditions after another flight went around and also diverted earlier in the day. This was actually the first flight to land at Cork Airport on this day after the storm passed. Engines were working hard, and we certainly got blown around on short finals - I believed we would abort but the pilots got the aircraft firmly down in the end!
