Driving Through Rural Tochigi: Scenic Mountains & Forest Roads 🇯🇵｜日光から佐野へ・栃木の田舎道⁠

On this journey, I drove through the beautiful mountainous region of Tochigi Prefecture, from Nikko to the Sano area. I started on National Route 122, a well-maintained road offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. I then continued onto Prefectural Route 15, which, I must admit, became quite narrow, with dense forest surrounding the road. I edited out a few sections to keep the journey flowing naturally. As I left the mountain roads behind, I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful and well-preserved rural area, with several traditional Japanese houses along the roadside. From there, I continued along Prefectural Route 32 and later Route 202, where I passed a huge mining operation surrounded by an interesting landscape. Finally, I reached the end of the journey.
