Cold Forming Bending .050" Grade 5 6Al-4V Ti Titanium Sheet

Like most Grade 5 (6Al-5V) Ti sheet, my .050" Ti sheet was annealed and resisted bending. I needed an approximate 2 1/4" radius with a more pronounced bend at the outer edges of the part. My fixture is 1" steel rod and 5/8" steel plate using various sized pipes and rods to cold form the 6Al-4V Ti sheet. The cast iron pipes did not hold up to the 3000psi pressure. I ended up using thicker walled pipe.
