If you are about to give up on someone, listen to this... (Keep The Door Open)

Sometimes the smallest decision can change everything. A phone call you almost miss. A road you nearly pass. A conversation you almost don't have. A person you might never have met. Keep the Door Open is about those moments. Not about waiting for something magical to happen, but about not closing every door before life has a chance to surprise you. Because sometimes the opportunities that change our lives don't arrive with a warning. They appear quietly, unexpectedly, and often at exactly the moment we weren't looking for them. The idea behind the song is simple: Give luck a chance to find you. You don't have to say yes to everything. You don't have to know where every road leads. Sometimes you just have to leave the door open long enough to find out what might be on the other side. That idea became especially interesting as a duet. Two voices. Two perspectives. STEIJN and LUNAVAI. Because some of the best things in life only happen when two paths unexpectedly cross. And perhaps that's the real meaning behind the final lines: Some things only find you When you give them a chance to find you. So here's the question: Was there ever a small decision, chance meeting, phone call or unexpected moment that changed your life? Let us know in the comments. LYRICS: It was just past closing I was reaching for the light The chairs were up, the day was done There was no one else in sight Then headlights crossed the window A car came down the road I turned the lights back on again And waited by the door Always keep the door open Leave the light on awhile You never know what's coming Or what might make you smile Some things only find you When you give them a chance to find you There's a call you almost miss There's a road you nearly pass Someone waiting by the door Just as you were heading back Most days roll on quietly Nothing much will come along But once in every little while You’re glad you carried on Always keep the door open Leave the light on awhile You never know what's coming Or what might make you smile Some things only find you When you give them a chance to find you I used to think that good luck Was something people found Now I think it finds you If you're still around Always keep the door open Leave the light on awhile You never know what's coming Or what might make you smile Some things only find you When you give them a chance to find you Always keep the door open.
